Meet Zohreh

Zohreh Ellison is a Master Teacher in Pilates and related movement modalities with an extensive international background. Having lived, studied, and worked in Iran, the UK, Singapore, Australia, Hawaii, and now in Punta del Este, Uruguay, since 2023.

Her journey into movement disciplines began in 1999, when health challenges led her to study yoga and later pursue certifications in both yoga and Pilates, followed by a mentorship under renowned Pilates Elder Mary Bowen in the highly selective PASSING THE TORCH™ program.

Zohreh strongly believes in Pilates and related disciplines as platforms to connect the body and mind to work together harmoniously. A member & Certified Pilates Teacher of the Pilates Method Alliance (CPT-PMA®), Zohreh has earned many additional certifications, including SPINEFITTER by SISSEL®, Physical Mind Institute®, Stott Pilates®, YogaFit®, Gyrotonic®, Gyrotoner®, Gyrokinesis®, Jumping-Stretching Board®, CoreAlign™, MOTR®, TRX®, Thomas Myers’ Anatomy Trains, Functional Anatomy for Movement and Injuries, Center for Anatomy & Morphology at the Mt.
